Nucleus wins EM magazine ‘Editors Choice’ Award

ANAHEIM, CA – Solid State Logic (2012 NAMM Show Booth #6908 – Hall A), the manufacturer of the world’s leading analogue and digital audio consoles, is proud to announce that the Nucleus DAW Controller/Audio Interface has won the ‘Hands Are for Mixing, Not Mousing’ award. The annual Electronic Musician magazine awards are selected by the Editorial team at EM to reflect their own expert opinion on the most significant product releases of the preceding year. The award was presented to SSL by the Electronic Musician team at an award ceremony held in Anaheim California to coincide with the start of the 2012 NAMM show.

“It is an honour to be the first winners of this superbly named award,” says Jim Motley, Head of Business, Workstation Partner Products at SSL. “Nucleus was designed to give the in-the-box producer the additional creative freedom that a really good hardware control surface brings. Creative control is what SSL is all about and it means a great deal to us that Craig, Sarah and the rest of the EM team see Nucleus as the leading product in the field at the moment.”
