C200 @ Yahoo! Music

NEW YORK, NY — Solid State Logic, the world’s leading manufacturer of analogue and digital audio consoles and provider of creative tools for music, broadcast and post production professionals, is pleased to announce a growing demand for its hugely popular C200 and C300 Series digital consoles among a diverse clientele ranging from educational facilities to film and television post-production studios. The C200 and C300 will be displayed at the 123rd Audio Engineering Society Convention in New York City (booth #126).

Recent sales and installations of the C300 HD include Wildfire Studios Post, located in Hollywood on the site originally built for Canon Pictures. This four room facility features a two Mix position, 256-input C348 HD console for film and TV post, as well as film score mixes.

Yahoo! Music, the most trafficked on-line music destination worldwide, selected a C224 Digital Production Console for an upgraded facility that will help produce Yahoo’s growing body of exclusive content.

A C248 is slated for installation at Universal Music Group later this year, mainly for use on projects overseen by IGA President Ron Fair and accomplished engineer Tal Herzberg.

Owned and operated by noted film dubbing mixer Jaime Baksht, Astro Studios, located in Mexico City, features the largest C300 HD to date, a two-operator, 48-fader, 512-channel console. With this C300 HD, Astro will be a world-class facility capable of meeting mainstream feature film mixing demands.

With SSL’s ever-growing presence in music education facilities throughout the United States, a C224 is scheduled for installation at the Art Institute of California in Santa Monica by the end of the year. The console will be featured in a room designed by noted architect Peter Grueneisen.

Delivering quality content to New England and beyond for over 50 years, WGBH Radio recently acquired a C224 Digital Production Console for its new, 1,800 square-foot performance studio. The new studio is part of a consolidation under one roof of WGBH’s considerable television and radio broadcasting infrastructure.

Led by Senior Pastor Jimmy Evans, Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, TX, has acquired a C332 console to use during production of the organization’s popular television ministry, MarriageToday, which is seen in millions of homes across the country.

“With our growing and evolutionary product line, Solid State Logic continues to offer ideal solutions for leading production and post production environments,” states SSL President Phil Wagner. “The industry’s response validates our efforts and we are thrilled that so many diversified facilities have chosen to install C Series consoles.”
