V4 SE Logictivity for AWS 900 and AWS 900+
We offer a combined SE Logictivity and V4 software upgrade kit for AWS 900 and AWS 900+ consoles that have not previously been upgraded to AWS 900+ SE Logictivity software. The combined V4 SE Logictivity software upgrade introduces many of the AWS 900+ SE and AWS 924 software features, keeping your console up to date as well as opening up new time saving workflow possibilities. This low cost upgrade also enables Ethernet connectivity and Logictivity bringing the Duality's session management tools to your console.

Faster, more reliable extended project management tools: V4 SE Logictivity software brings the Logictivity Browser to your AWS - a remote application that runs on your workstation computer, the intuitive graphical interface provides session management tools to save, restore and distribute project data. In addition the browser allows channels, external sources, projects, mixes and TR data to be renamed as well as providing the ability to add notes and track sheets. Project data is now saved as a zip file which greatly simplifies data exchange between sessions. Sample screen shots of the browser are available here.
Ethernet connectivity: V4 SE Logictivity software enables the Ethernet port on your console providing a fast and robust connection to your workstation. Utilising the direct Ethernet connection, SSL's browser application saves and restores data rapidly which eliminates the need for slow Sysex data transfers. V4 SE Logictivity software also incorporates an ipMIDI driver which uses the Ethernet connection for workstation control. This simplifies installation and set up, removes the need for an external MIDI interface and provides tighter integration with your chosen DAW(s).
A-FADA mode: Allows the motorised analogue faders to follow DAW Automation.
Second DAW layer: Provides the ability to control two workstations simultaneously or independently.
Extended Features: V4 SE Logictivity includes many enhancements to Talkback, Total Recall, Monitoring, Signal Routing and Setup creating new ways of working.
V4 software features for consoles running SE Logictvity software
V4 software for AWS 900, AWS 900+ and AWS 900+ SE consoles running SE Logictivity software. This software upgrade introduces many of the AWS 924 and AWS 948 software features to earlier console variants. Features include:
- A-FADA mode allows the motorised analogue faders to follow DAW Automation
- Total Recall Autoscan and Set All functions speed up recalling project data
- Transport Lock allows transport control to be locked to a single DAW layer
- Automatic Solo Boost option which increases the monitor level when a SOLO or AFL is activated
- Isolated channel AFL option enables solo-isolated channels to automatically solo in AFL
- Automation Protection Modes now allow independent Cut and Fader protection
- New SELECT and SET mode speed up console configuration by allowing most soft switch controls to be set across a channel range
- DAW layer selection now available from the monitor Misc menu, simplifying work flow
- A new single layer mode allows two DAWs to be configured on the same layer, giving parallel access to both machines
- DAW layers can now be configured to occupy 8, 16 or 24 channels, allowing parallel access to analogue and DAW faders for tracking
- Separate EFX to CHOP selection allows the channel output to be sourced pre fader while EFX system feeds the track busses to generate stereo headphone mixes
